The OIT teams engaged in business and professional services focus on working with our university partners to create customized solutions and opportunities. OIT provides support, development, consultation, integration and video production services to help customers navigate the constantly changing digital landscape. Audiovisual (AV) System Design

AV Systems Design is a service that facilitates the design and integration of audiovisual systems across campuses. This includes new systems and design changes to existing systems. The team provides consulting services that take the project from inception to completion.

Billing Speedtype Change

This service request allows administrative or financial staff to change the billing speedtype for any service charged by OIT. These requests must be requested by a individual with PeopleSoft fiscal responsibility.

Data Integration

CRM and data integration for the use and delivery of user data managed or generated through OIT including information obtained from the HCM and Campus Solution systems. All data requests require the explicit approval of the relevant Data Owners. Access, use and distribution of the requested data must strictly follow the data integration request process and guidelines.

Database Administration and Support

Research and Shared Services (RSS) can help design, develop, and deploy your database in MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or Oracle. In addition, they can assist with query generation, backups, maintenance, optimization, and controlling user access.

Digital Signage

Digital signage is provided to show event scheduling information as well as flyers to promote campus activities and events. Email your 8x11 .pdf or .jpeg flyers for approval to the CU Denver or Anschutz Medical Campus digital display contact email addresses in the call to action boxes on the right. Please select the campus you'd like to request a display for and include the date range for posting.

Evaluation of New Software/Technology

The OIT Service Desk provides consultation on purchasing new software or technology. Capability, technical requirements and other factors are reviewed to help make decisions about what hardware and/or software to purchase.

Planning, Strategy and Analysis

The Planning, Strategy and Analysis (PSA) Team is a diverse group with expertise in business and systems analysis, lean process improvement, data analysis, user experience design, information architecture and strategy development. The team provides consulting and professional services internally to OIT and externally to our university business partners. As the link between the end-users request and the technology team tasked with satisfying those requests, the Planning, Strategy and Analysis team is committed to helping others succeed.

Photography and Video Production

CU Productions offers photography services including headshots, event photos, website, and marketing material photo shoots.

Video production services include concept development, script writing, video recording, event recording, graphic design, motion graphic design, and video editing. 

Project Management

​​For a fee, Research and Shared Services (RSS) can provide project management as a service for your IT project. From documentation, budgeting, scheduling and task management, change control and project closeout, we can help with all stages of your project. This service can be used for infrastructure, hardware deployment, process improvement, application development and application implementation projects.

System Support

The Research and Shared Services division of OIT can provide system support such as application and system hosting, database hosting and consultation services. We will work with you to review your requirements and needs to provide recommendations for a solution that will work for you. 

Technical Support

Software and hardware support is provided by the OIT Service Desk team. Whether you need assistance setting up a new computer or are having problems with your existing device, contact the OIT Service Desk for support. On the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, tier two support is a fee-for-service.

The CU Denver | CU Anschutz Medical Campus holds a number of site licenses that allow free use of software and applications to faculty, staff and students.

Web and Application Development

For a fee, Research and Shared Services (RSS) can help design, develop, and deploy your web-based application. Web applications can meet a variety of needs, including web sites, content sites and data collection tools for research or administrative functions. This service can be utilized by any school, department, center or researcher within the University and its affiliates.

For a fee, Research and Shared Services (RSS) can assist in performing data integrations between applications using a variety of services and techniques.
