Research and Shared Services (RSS) can help design, develop, and deploy your database in MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or Oracle. In addition, they can assist with query generation, backups, maintenance, optimization, and controlling user access.

Office of Information Technology (OIT) offers hosting services for physical and virtual servers. Departmental servers are hosted in one of the data centers maintained by OIT. These data centers feature redundant power, cooling, and secure data center access.
The Research and Shared Services division of OIT can provide system support such as application and system hosting, database hosting and consultation services. We will work with you to review your requirements and needs to provide recommendations for a solution that will work for you.
Virtual servers are offered as an alternative to physical servers. They function as an independent server on a single physical server. Select this service to request provisioning of a Windows or Linux virtual server in the CU Denver or CU Anschutz environments.
