The Office of Equity (OE) was created to administer the University's Nondiscrimination and Sexual Misconduct Policies by addressing all complaints of protected class discrimination and harassment, all complaints of prohibited sexual misconduct, and any related retaliation reported by University students, faculty, staff, and/or third parties. In addition to the University's Nondiscrimination and Sexual Misconduct Policies, the OE also enforces the University's Conflict of Interest in Cases of Amorous Relationships Policy.
The OE employs comprehensive, unbiased, resolution processes to ensure safety and prevent further harm, offer support resources, understand the scope of the problem, and determine options for resolution.
