The Lynx Food Pantry is a direct response to the need of the CU Denver student body for more resources to fight food insecurity and the lack of nutritious food. With rising fees, textbook costs, and living expenses, it has become increasingly difficult for students to juggle the costs of living with the costs of obtaining a university degree, and thus many students are finding themselves choosing between essentials such as food and the costs of college. CU Denver students have access to free food and hygiene products at the Lynx Food Pantry located on the 3rd Level in the Lola & Rob Salazar Student Wellness Center. All students are allocated 10 points each week to use on items from the Lynx Food Pantry, whether it just be to grab a snack for a day or to help out with a meal, just make sure to bring your student ID. All CU Denver students (wellness fee-assessed and non-fee-assessed) have access to the CU Denver Food Pantry. Students who are non-fee-assessed, and therefore do not have Salazar Student Wellness Center access will be escorted to the Food Pantry area by a WRS staff member.
Located on Level 3 of the Salazar Student Wellness Center in the Wellness Suite. Our Wellness Associates are available to answer any questions and to provide you access to the CU Denver Food Pantry.
CU Denver is working with Food Bank of the Rockies to make sure our students who rely on our campus food pantry have what they need to get through this challenging time.
