Eligibility and Membership
Below are the eligibility requirements an individual must meet in order to participate in Club Sports.
Member Eligibility
- Currently enrolled CU Denver downtown student that pays student fees
- Currently enrolled online CU Denver downtown student or an Anschutz student that pays the Club Sports fee
- Enrolled in health insurance
- A student must complete their Proof of Health Insurance form and Code of Conduct form on IMLeagues and have it approved by the Club Sports office before they can participate in any kind of Club Sports activity.
- To learn more about a specific club's membership requirements, contact the club directly.
Steps to Join
- Contact the Team: Prospective club members should contact the club before completing the online
registration process on IMLeagues and paying any dues. Some clubs may require tryouts and have higher membership requirements, and the office does not issue refunds for team dues. It is important to learn as much about the club, membership
and dues deadlines prior to registering online.
- Register Online: Registration on IMLeagues is required for all Club Sport members.
- Once you have decided to join the club, you can register through IMLeagues. You will need to create an account on IMLeagues with your CU Denver email address or your Anschutz email address
- Once your account is created and you reach the home page, select "Club Sports"
- Select your respective club.
- Read, complete and sign all waivers (2). WAIVERS MUST BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE YOU CAN PRACTICE OR TRY-OUT.
- Do NOT pay dues unless you are officially a part of the team
- Repeat step #1 to get further instructions on what else may be needed for team membership.

If you are a student that is not currently enrolled in health insurance, Wellness & Recreation Services houses a program called Single Stop that can help connect you with government resources, such as medicaid and SNAP.
