Athletic Mobility

Increase your flexibility, range of motion, stabilization, and posture with static and dynamic stretching. Mobility teaches (or re-teaches) the body to move the way it was meant to. This class is ideal for all bodies - either to compliment a workout routine & to help release the body from lack of movement (i.e. sitting at a desk all day). All levels. This class will be live in-person at the Student Wellness Center, and also available to join via zoom.
We will occasionally utilize equipment during this class. If you're attending virtually, please see the recommended household items instead:
-Tennis ball (baseball, golf ball, firm wad of socks, can of soup, etc.)
-Stretching strap (yoga strap, booty bands, (looped) belt, towel, pillowcase, etc.)
-Foam roller (soccer ball, basketball, can of soup, paper plates, towel/pillowcase on hard floor, etc.; depends on use of rolling vs massaging)
-Very light resistance, completely optional for every exercise (resistance/therabands, 1-2.5 lbs. weights)
