This February, join the CU Denver Health Promotions team as we host Love Your Body Week to promote body positivity, challenge harmful stereotypes, and empower our community. Running from February 10th to February 14th, this week-long event is filled with activities to inspire self-compassion, community building, and self-care.

Love Your Body Week is an annual awareness campaign aimed at challenging harmful body ideals and promoting body positivity on college campuses. The purpose of the week is to create a space where students can engage in discussions, activities, and events that encourage self-love, acceptance, and empowerment. By raising awareness about the pressures of unrealistic beauty standards, Love Your Body Week strives to foster a supportive community that embraces diverse body types, challenges societal norms, and promotes mental and physical well-being.

We’re partnering with the Center for Access & Campus Engagement, The Health Center at Auraria, The Phoenix Center, the Body Project Student Facilitators and other Wellness & Recreation Services areas to bring you a full week of empowering events!
