  • Climbing Wall

The Climbing Wall at the Lola & Rob Salazar Student Wellness Center offers a variety of activities such as open climbing, clinics, and workshops, plus free equipment checkout for all members. Equipment available at the climbing wall includes ropes, harnesses, climbing shoes, locking carabiners, and belay device. Routes are reset frequently so there is always something new to climb!

Never climbed before? Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is here to help orient you to the wall and climbing in a way that is inviting, safe, and fun!

Our climbing area offers a stand-alone bouldering wall and a 38-foot climbing wall for roped climbing. The climbing wall & bouldering wall are designed for a mixture climbing styles and challenges for all-ability levels.

Clinics & Workshops

Are you new to climbing or want to refresh your skills? Attend a fundies clinic to learn climber terminology and and belay and knot-tying technique.

Lead climbing clinic

Anchor building workshop

Need to anchor down your anchor building? This workshop is designed for climbers of all experience levels. We cover several different ways to build anchors to the industry standard.

Multi-pitch workshop

Colorado offers some world-class, multi-pitch locations. This outdoor workshop is geared for experienced rock climbers looking to take their skills to the next level. You’ll learn how to ascend a huge face (climbing, belaying and lowering), as well as how to get down (rappelling).
