You were contacted by a case manager because you were either the reporting party to a CARE referral and case manager’s make it a practice to confirm that this referral has been received and may ask clarifying questions or requesting updates since the Referral was submitted.
If you are the individual for whom the CARE referral was submitted; whenever we receive this type of information about students, it is our practice to reach out and invite them to sit down with a case manager to talk about classes, discuss available resources on campus, and explore any additional support the student may need.
