• Click on “Organizations”
• Filter organizations by category or search for specific organizations
• Find general information, meeting times, and upcoming events
• Reach out via the “Contact” button on an organization’s page

Start an Organization

We are so excited you are interested in bringing a new organization to CU Denver! This will be a journey where your leadership and organizational skills are challenged and we are excited to support you along the way. Check out the steps below to get started:

1. Meet with Student Life & Campus Community to understand what it means to be an organization at CU Denver and learn more about the process for registration. Sign up for a meeting slot here.
2. Find three CU Denver students to be (1) President, (2) Vice President, and (3) Treasurer and a CU Denver faculty or staff member to be your advisor.
3. Create a constitution for your organization. See a sample constitution here or on the MyLynx Organization Registration form. Note: all constitutions must have a non-discrimination clause as stated in the sample constitution.
4. Complete the Organization Registration Form.
5. Before your organization is approved, you will need to present to the New Organization Recognition Board. Details on this will be available the first week of classes in Fall 2020.
