Timing of Tuition Waiver and Payment of Student Fees
Once you have registered for classes following guidelines for employees or dependents, we will verify enrollment eligibility and apply the tuition waiver to your student account before the payment deadline after the census date. You can view your bill and pay student fees on the student portal in UCDAccess.
Bill and Payment Dates
The University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus Bursar's office begins processing these requests once enrollment opens for employee tuition assistance beneficiaries which is the first day of classes or 7 days prior for graduate courses. Dependents applying for employee tuition waivers can register when enrollment opens for the semester.
Dependent Waivers - Tuition waivers for dependents will be applied to the bill before the first billing due date of the term (please review our billing calendar for specific term dates), providing all employee, dependent, and class eligibility requirements have been met.

term (please review our billing calendar for specific term dates), providing employee and class eligibility requirements have been met.
Benefits will be applied to your student account no later than:

Please review the add/drop date of the semester if you do not plan on taking the course(s) you have applied for to avoid financial responsibility for the course(s). If you have questions about the registration process, visit the Office of the Registrar.
Student Fees
The tuition assistance benefit does not apply to student fees. It applies only to the cost of tuition or a portion of tuition (minus the College Opportunity Fund (COF) stipend if you are a Colorado resident undergraduate) depending on your enrolled hours.
Dependents attending the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus are responsible for paying the same student fees as other students. See Tuition & Fee Rates for more information (click on the drop-down menu and choose undergraduate or graduate rate tables). The tuition discount (will show as “Staff Dependent Waiver” on the bill) for dependents of University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus employees will apply to tuition (student share for Colorado resident undergraduates).
