CU Denver Mental Health First Aid Training is a skills-based training on assisting those with mental health and substance-use issues. The 9-hour training is led by qualified experts in the field of health and wellness and takes place at the Lola & Rob Salazar Student Wellness Center.
Mental Health First Aid teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This 8-hour training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to appropriate care.
