SURVIVING IN PLACE

Emergency Go Kit -
Application

Why Have a Go Kit?

An Emergency Go Kit is a collection of essential items you can quickly grab and take with you in an emergency or evacuation. You will have all your necessary supplies in one place for easy access in a hurry.

It's important to customize your Go Kit based on any medications, assistive technology, or special needs that you or your family members may have. Keep your kit in a designated location, such as near the front door or in your car trunk, so you can easily grab it and go.

Colorado Medicaid recipients can apply to receive an emergency go kit. You must be enrolled in Health First Colorado, Colorado's Medicaid Program to be eligible for this program.

Unfortunately, Emergency Go Kit applications are now closed -- all available kits have been distributed. See below for information on how to assemble your own Emergency Go Kit and resources to assist with funding!
