Project S.O.A.R.R

Supporting Older Adults through Resources and Relationships

Program Update:

Funding for Project SOARR was provided by the Daniels Fund Foundation for the past two years. We are immensely grateful to them and are proud of the successful development and implementation of Project SOARR. Our Tech Mentors and mentees continue to shine! Although funding is no longer available for this program, we continue to seek alternatives and will be transitioning our work over the coming months to ensure continued support for older adults living in Colorado who wish to learn more about using technology in everyday activities

Project Overview

This project empowered older adults in Colorado by training Tech Mentors to offer specialized technology support, leading to improved social connections and reduced isolation.

Registered Tech Mentors received access to online and in-person training, printable materials, custom tutorial videos, and practice scenarios crafted by CIDE experts in collaboration with community partners experienced in working with older Coloradans.
