Virtual CATE Conference 2023

Sep 19, 2023A virtual 2-day conference featured sessions with NATIONALLY renowned trainers who addressed a variety of assistive technology topics regarding the academic support needs of students with disabilities!
The Conference for Assistive Technology and Education (CATE) took place on June 5th and 6th. It was an online, virtual conference featuring two days of 3.5-hour short courses, 1–2-hour breakout sessions, and lunch & learn opportunities. The speakers, who included some of the most widely respected professionals in the country, addressed hot topics, evidence-based practices, and practical solutions from the field of assistive technology. The lunch & learn presentations explored state-of-the-art tools, strategies, and technologies. Attendees were able to communicate, collaborate, and extend their learning beyond the conference with scheduled meet-ups, discussion boards, and 90-day access to session recordings on the virtual conference platform.
