Undergraduate programs lead to a bachelor’s degree, which signifies a student has completed a course of study, typically 120 college credits or approximately 40 classes.
Graduate programs include master's and doctoral studies. Master's degrees require approximately 12 – 18 classes. Doctoral program requirements differ by subject, but on average require 30 – 40 classes, as well as a thesis.
