Grades are posted approximately one week after the last day of final exams. Degrees are conferred and reflected on transcripts approximately 4-6 weeks after Commencement. Students may be required to submit an official transcript to their Sponsor. Students may request an official transcript from the Office of the Registrar. CU Denver students, please click here to order official transcripts. CU Anschutz students, please click here to order official transcripts.
The last day students can order diplomas and make changes to the name and delivery address is on Commencement day. Students should use the same name on their passport to be printed on their diploma to avoid degree authentication complications. Diplomas are mailed to students approximately 6-8 weeks after Commencement. If you plan to ship your diploma internationally, please contact the Office of the Registrar to make arrangements for receiving your diploma.
Students affiliated with certain sponsoring organizations should request an additional diploma to be mailed to their sponsor directly.
As of July 2023, Degree Completion Letters are processed for graduating sponsored students by the Registrar’s Office. They can be requested via email (registrar@ucdenver.edu ). The letter only mentions the student has completed their academic program requirements and is expected to earn their degree on an estimated date. It does not mention either the specific degree or the major. Students who need a record to show the specific degree and major will need to request an official transcript after degree conferral.
