Colorado’s statewide loan library is a tremendous resource for children receiving Part C early intervention services. Through the loan library, assistive technology items can be trialed to determine if they are the best fit for a child and their family. Early intervention AT consultants can provide access to the loan library for EI providers within their CCB program.

We do ask borrowers to complete a number of surveys in the course of your loan from the loan library. We recognize this adds additional time however, it is necessary for us to collect this data in order to receive funds to continue to operate the loan library.

To view a list of all available loan library items, go to our online Alexandria Loan Library

The Alexandria Loan Library catalog details all the inventory currently available in the Loan Library. Alexandria is searchable by anyone (teachers, caregivers, family members, related service professionals). It is a great resource of information including descriptions and features of devices, purchase price, and a picture of the item(s). AT service providers can direct AT stakeholders/clientele/consumers to Alexandria in order to preview potential AT solutions. All requests for equipment must come from the designated Early Intervention AT Consultant.

Question : What should I do if we received a device that does not work?
Call us right away. We might be able to trouble-shoot the problem and/or obtain technical support to resolve the issue quickly. If we can’t resolve the problem from a distance, return the device with the equipment survey or a note describing the problem. Please specify if you would still like to receive the device once it is repaired.

We do our best to ensure that all devices are in working order when sent, so we apologize if you receive a device in disrepair, and we appreciate you informing us of any damages/missing parts/etc. that you may identify. Your first-hand accounts help us maintain AT Library inventory.
