The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline offers free 24/7 confidential support for people in distress, including suicide prevention and crisis resources.
The Phoenix Center at Auraria (PCA) provides free and confidential resources and assistance to survivors and supporters of interpersonal violence.
Food and Hunger
We never want you to have to pick and choose between being able to afford food and being able to afford an education. Food security and nutrition is extremely important at CU Denver. If you ever find yourself unable to pay for food or groceries, please remember there are plenty of resources available to you.
Located on Level 3 of the Salazar Student Wellness Center in the Wellness Suite. Staff is available to answer any questions and to provide you access to the CU Denver Food Pantry.

Safety and Security
We all want to feel safe here, so we can focus on the real reasons we’re here— to study, learn, and grow. That’s why CU Denver Lynx look out for each other. If you have a safety concern for yourself or someone else, you can get help through these services.
To stop, prevent, and remedy discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, and any related retaliation; provide education, training and outreach; design policies and procedures to make our campus safer and more inclusive; and ensure all individuals are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

The Auraria Campus has a dedicated, full-service police department, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, committed to enhancing the quality of life on the Auraria Campus.
