CIDE’s Director, Cathy Bodine, becomes a 2023 Faculty Excellence Award winner!

Cathy Bodine, PhD, was a recipient of CU Denver’s 2023 Campus Faculty Excellence Award. The award acknowledges her outstanding performance and is made special because it was determined by her colleagues. Dr. Bodine’s award was in the category of Excellence in Leadership and Service (Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty).
Dr. Bodine explains what motivates her as an educator - “The favorite part of my work is helping to create the next generation of Bioengineers. Today’s students are compassionate, incredibly committed to improving the world, and they are focused on how they can contribute.”
