Join CU Denver’s School of Public Affairs for an insightful discussion on the affordable housing crisis in Colorado, featuring faculty experts from CU Denver. This panel will explore the current challenges in affordable housing, including its effects on unhoused populations, as well as how CU Denver is addressing the issue through research, education, and community engagement.
Moderated by Dr. Tanya Heikkila, SPA professor and co-Director of the Center for Policy and Democracy, the session will focus on the innovative research underway at CU Denver and the critical training future policymakers and professionals need to address this pressing issue. We are excited to kick off another academic year! The event is free and open to both the campus community and the public. This year’s event takes place on the 1300 block of Lawrence St. between Speer and 14th St. The event will feature interactive booths highlighting various CU Denver departments, colleges and schools.
