Mission
The CU Denver Career Center strives to equitably engage students in career conversations early and often, in order to help them understand what brought them to college, how they can build experiences and relationships, and to realize
their professional potential. We help close the equity gap by helping our BIPOC students and students from marginalized populations realize their professional potential.
Vision: A presence that permeates the institutional culture and experience. An institutional commitment that career-based conversations, skill development, and outside of the classroom experiences compliment and enhance content mastery in the classroom. Career conversations and experiential learning are integrated into the fabric of our campus. Career prevention and interventions are conducted in an equitable manner and are accessible to students from historically under-represented populations.
Values
Collaboration, Innovation, Equity and Access, Quality Interaction with Students, Parents, Alumni, and Employers, creative use of resources, self-exploration, and identification of strengths.
