Getting Through Remote Learning: Resources for Success

We encourage everyone to be flexible, kind, and gracious towards one another and we’ll see you back on campus on January 31st, Lynx!

Well, it looks like things are back online for a bit.

We totally get how hard this is and that there are plenty of frustrations about remote learning. Although it’s probably not the most ideal start to Spring 2022, as we work to continue keeping our campus community safe, Lynx Central has gathered some resources to support you and help guide you towards a successful semester.

Check out all of these resources available to you, right now.

Mental health support

  • CU Denver’s Counseling Center will be offering virtual Telehealth Counseling Services from Jan. 17, 2022 to Feb. 14, 2022. After Feb. 14, the office will also be offering in-person services. Call 303.315.7270 to schedule an appointment!
  • You@CUDenver is an app that offers tips and tools for taking care of everything, from your mental and physical health, to friendships and finding balance.

Tutoring and study assistance

The Library has more than just books

OIT is for more than when your tech doesn't work

  • The Office of Information Technology’s Service Desk is your main point of contact for your technology questions. For one-on-one assistance with remote learning needs, you can call 303.724.4357. OIT also has their own remote learning resources for you to check out! These include tips for online learning, help accessing course content, and campus services. For CU Denver students, several different  software and applications are available for free or at a discounted rate, including Adobe Creative Cloud and  Microsoft 365

If you need extra support

  • If you feel as though you are still struggling and need some individualized support, please reach out to the Office of Case Management. This office is here to support your safety and well-being on campus.

We're coming back to campus on January, 31st!

Also, don’t forget to get your booster before Jan. 31, 2022! If it has been less than six months since your last COVID vaccine, you will be required to get the booster within one month of eligibility.

We’re all going through this together, so don’t feel as though you’re alone. As our Lynx community continues to grow, faculty and staff are here to support you. We encourage everyone to be flexible, kind, and gracious towards one another, giving each other the benefit of the doubt as we work towards a great semester. We’ll see you back on campus on January 31st, Lynx! Hang in there—we got this!
