The program is fully accredited by the Colorado Department of Education and the Council for Exceptional Children. This program is perfect if you are:
A licensed Colorado teacher who wants the training and knowledge to serve students with disabilities.
Already in possession of a Colorado general education license and wish to build on that expertise.
Looking to improve your ability to meet the needs of all learners.
Many of our students go on to complete an optional Master's Degree in Special Education which only requires four additional classes.
Investing in your future is a big decision. However, becoming a fully online student at CU Denver is an affordable option with discounted tuition rates for non resident, fully online students. And of course, you will save money not having to drive to campus.
