We Aren't Just Canvas

CU Online supports teaching and learning technologies across CU Denver and CU Anschutz, including Canvas, the learning management system. We are also experts on a host of other technologies available to faculty and students that can transform the experience of learning with and through technology. Whether you teach online or face to face, our team can coach you on implementing technology in your classroom. Learn more about the technologies and resources we have available below.

There are a number of resources available from Canvas directly to support faculty AND students. The Canvas guides provide you step by step directions for doing just about anything in Canvas. Share the student guide with students to help them navigate the platform.

Proctorio is a service for proctoring online exams delivered in Canvas. Using Proctorio, you can identify who is taking a test and enforce rules and monitor behavior of test-takers. For example, perhaps you want to prevent students from launching other applications or accessing certain resources during an exam.

Proctorio works in conjunction with the Chrome web browser, which is available on every desktop operating system, including PC and Mac. See the guide for installation instructions.
