The Office of Strategic Impact (OSI) partners with the organization, leaders and teams to enhance CU Denver culture through strategic planning, leadership development and continuous improvement. 

We are culture creators! We drive results by establishing strategic partnerships, enhancing leaders’ effectiveness, breaking down silos, facilitating learning, aligning resources, and developing a shared mindset for continuous improvement and innovation.


The OSI offers a variety of internal consulting, education, and project-based services to departments and initiatives throughout CU Denver. We prioritize projects based on alignment with CU Denver’s strategic priorities and the readiness for and feasibility of sustainable change.

Our three-point approach recognizes the complex nature of organizations and organizational change.

  • Strategy: In alignment with the University’s strategic priorities, develop a clear roadmap to align direction for teams and projects and define the necessary actions to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Leadership Development: Partner with leaders and their teams to drive greater personal awareness, leadership skills, and (business) results through executive leadership coaching and educational workshops.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a university-wide culture of continuous improvement through education, facilitation and coaching collaborative teams to make CU Denver’s strategic business processes more efficient while increasing student satisfaction.
