Specialty Areas: Professional development and consulting services that include, but not limited to: custom training courses for individuals and teams, individual and team coaching, 360 assessments, employee climate surveys, team building activities,strategic planning, and group meeting facilitation.

Bio: Debbie started with the University in March of 2018. Prior to joining the University, Debbie worked in the heavy industrial construction industry leading internal professional development initiatives, employee coaching, curriculum design, and course facilitation.  She attended the University of Colorado Denver Campus where she received her undergraduate degree in business followed by an MBA with an emphasis in HR and organizational learning.  In addition, she completed a master’s degree in organizational development and curriculum design through CSU-Global.

Overall, Debbie has more than 20 years of experience that includes developing high-performing teams, designing and launching talent development initiatives, and designing and delivering high-impact learning solutions.  Debbie has a strong passion for learning and taking what she learns and helping others grow and develop personally and professionally.

Bio:  Kaitlin joined the Learning and Development team in April 2019.  Prior to this, Kaitlin worked in Talent Management/Recruitment at the Anschutz Medical Campus and at Illinois State University. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Spanish as well as an MBA from Illinois State University. She has worked in higher education for 8+ years.  Kaitlin considers herself a life-long learner and loves helping others grow and develop at CU.

Bio: Kara started with the University in October of 2019. She brings with her experience in marketing, event planning, and sales. She has worked in industries such as publishing, education, and entertainment. Her education includes a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications and MBA with an emphasis in management and organizational behavior from California Lutheran University. She enjoys being part of the team that welcomes new employees and brings opportunities for development to the community of CU Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus.

Nina Ghandour

Bio: Nina joined the Learning and Development team in July 2021. Prior to joining the CU Denver | Anschutz Learning and Development team, Nina’s most recent posts have been in the defense and health industries as a Business Processes Engineer, Leadership Development Manager and Reliability Training Consultant. Nina received her Master’s in Social Science from UC Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from the University of Texas at Austin. 

Nina has more than 12 years of experience in the design and delivery of professional development training and implementation of leadership development programs. She has led process improvement initiatives in the industries of defense, academia, health, and transportation. Nina not only has a strong passion for helping people develop and grow in their professional career, she has a strong sense of community which extends into her volunteer work at UCHealth on the Anschutz Medical Campus.
