Resources for Students
The Institute for International Business sponsors student organizations such as the International Business Student Network (IBSN) and CIBERVets, offers students opportunities to participate in business case competitions, events, programs, and workshops, pairs CU Denver IB students with IB mentors in the business community, and assists students to secure internships and employment opportunities.

CIBERVets
Offered jointly by CU Denver’s Institute for International Business and Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), in collaboration with the Office of Veteran & Military Student Services and the Business School, CIBERVets offers veteran students various opportunities to gain knowledge and skills in international business. Various levels of membership offer students to tailor their experience to their interests and career goals.
International Business Student Network
International Business Student Network (IBSN) is an organization for CU Denver students in all majors and programs interested in international business. The club sponsors cultural dinners, networking events, international business speakers and on-line social connections through Facebook and MyLynx. IBSN also hosts bi-weekly meetings and has an array of leadership opportunities.

Pathways to International Internships and Employment
The Institute for International Business (IIB) created Pathways to International Internships and Employment (PIIE) to lead, manage, and coordinate CIBER activities that facilitate the matching of CU Denver students, recent graduates, and veteran and military students to work study, consulting projects, internships, and job opportunities in IB and related fields. PIIE provides a unique collaborative opportunity to connect students with Colorado companies seeking to enter or expand their international business footprint.

- Specializations in Global E-Commerce and Global Supply Chain
- Professional MBA and MS student taking IB courses
- CIBERVets and VMS Global Leaders Program participants
- International Business Student Network members
- Language and Area Studies students taking IB courses

- First generation students taking IB courses

We pair each IB student with a faculty advisor and a business mentor. Typically, you will be introduced to your mentors during your second semester after an informational interview with IIB/CIBER staff to learn about your interests and career goals.
