The beloved St. Cajetan’s church was recently repainted vibrant shades of yellow and blue, reflecting the building's original color scheme. The church was completed in 1926 and was the first Hispanic parish in Denver. The landmark on the southwest side of campus was a place of worship, vibrant cultural events, and community celebrations for residents of the Auraria neighborhood. Today, it’s used for a variety of activities, including weddings, lectures, and community gatherings—and serves as a reminder of the Auraria Campus’ rich history.
