Hometown Colorado Initiative (HCI)

HCI purpose and mission drives to advance the quality of life for Coloradans

Cities and communities need of support and technical assistance in completing projects, but are often hard-pressed for time, staff, or budget. Hometown Colorado allows communities to tap into the talents and energy of University of Colorado Denver students and faculty in order to accomplish critical projects. This working relationship between cities and higher ed institutions puts student talent to work in order to strengthen communities.

The Mission of the Hometown Colorado Initiative (HCI) is to connect communities in Colorado with the wide-ranging knowledge and academic discipline of the University of Colorado Denver faculty and students to address local issues that advance community livability and quality of life.
