The next Project SOARR tech mentor training will be a two-day event in December. The training will take place virtually via Zoom and if there are interested participants it will also be held in person at the CU Anschutz campus. Help us spread the word by hanging a flyer in your community!
Twenty years ago, only 14% of adults over the age of 65 were internet users. Today that number has skyrocketed to well over 75%.
Despite this increase, there remain barriers for many older adults. As a tech mentor, you can help alleviate many of these barriers.
Mentor relationships with older adults are an opportunity for shared learning and growth.
Supporting an older adult with technology is an opportunity to form strong connections with the older adults in your community and develop skills that you can use in other aspects of your life.
