The Real-Time QPCR core was launched in February 2012 and has processed hundreds of sample for over 14 Principal Investigator;both within and outside of the university. The core provides real-time quantitative PCR services, including gene expression and copy number variation (CNV) analysis. Gene expression analysis is done using the relative standard curve method and an appropriate endogenous control. This ensures the most accurate data possible that will stand up to current publishing recommendations. Copy number analysis can be applied to test for transgene copy number in addition to inherent genomic variations. The core uses Applied Biosystems; 7500Fast instrument to deliver reliable data in a timely manner. The core also offers support services such as RNA and DNA purification and DNAse treatment.

Price per Plate: $405.34, Price per Sample: $18.68
The Plate Set-up price includes the set up of a 96-well plate, with all necessary controls. To the Plate Set-up Price add the Price per Sample based on how many samples you will be running. A maximum of 8 samples can be run on a 96-well plate (n = 3). Another Plate Set-up fee will be charged for each additional 96-well plate needed to accommodate your number of samples. The prices above apply to testing one gene. If you want to test multiple genes, multiply the prices by the number of genes.
Price per Plate: $275.26, Price per Sample: $5.81
The Plate Set-up price is for initial consultation with client, analysis of your samples and data review. The assay (primer/probe) for your gene of interest is NOT included. This must be ordered separately by the client. To the Plate Set-up Price add the Price per Sample based on how many samples you will be running. A maximum of 29 samples can be run on a 96-well plate (n = 3). Another Plate Set-up fee will be charged for each additional 96-well plate needed to accommodate your number of samples. All samples are run in triplicates.
