Statement on Jan. 20 DACA Executive Order

We are very pleased with President Biden’s executive order yesterday to protect the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program and his proposal to make Dreamers eligible for citizenship. We at CU Denver have a proud history of serving a diverse student body, including undocumented students, who make so many vital contributions to our university community. We are hopeful that these exceptional Americans, and their families, will soon have some measure of confidence and security about their future.
